I went to http://www.rcpowers.com/ and printed out there free Extra 300S PDF sketch, about 8 pieces of paper being taped together and laid on a big square depron foam piece.
I cut out the pieces and sand them down so all hingelines and straight lines would be perfectly straight and clear :)

Then I glued the pieces together and taped the control surfaces to the body with clear scotch tape, and cut out some control horns out of plexiglass (transparent plastic) and wired it up with the electronics.
You can find more pictures of the building process at My webalbum

So now i have bought myself a BLM (BrushLess Motor) and is now working on the motormount :)
I will update this blog post as i do progress, so keep watching ^^ or just subscribe via the Feed section in the sidebare to the right :)

Tech. Data on motor, batt, ESC (Electronic Speed Controler) and so on:

LiPo: What i have laying around :) some 2S 1000mAh and a single 3S 2500 wich really should fire up under the motor :D

The motor is a 2600Kv brushless motor with a Graupner 5-2" prop And a Hype ALPHA Control pro 25A ESC

Some pics of the progress

I'm making a washer out of metal to sit in the order 1. motor 2. plastic motormount 3 washer. This will prevent the motormount from cleaving, then i will see if there has to be further enhancements...

Plane is now finished and im waiting for the wind to chill a little, the BL motor seems like it REALLY is more powerfull, it can aaaaaaaaalmost lift the plane but only almost, but well, thats on the 2S LiPo (7.4V.) i have a 3S (11.1V.) but i dont know if i dare putting that one on, without makeing the motormount stronger :)

Just wanted to leave text message i send to a guy im helping with a science project about water rockets, there may be something you will find interesting, if you havnt builded a rocket yet, read my text and GET TO THE BLUEPRINTS :D

Hi again, just to say what you need is kinda difficult... um, but i will try, i will also be adding links to videos/pictures i will find usefull for you to see :)
Well, ofcourse you need bottles ;) Find the big 2litres ones in thin plastic like this one (http://www.americansweets.co.uk/ekmps/shops/statesidecandy/images/copy_of_aAw_2_litre_root_beer.jpg)You can choose to just use one bottle pr. rocket, or you can connect more of them together like Air Command Rocket (ACR) does... if you go watch their video (http://home.people.net.au/~aircommand/day54.htm) you can do like so, and then you take two bottlecaps and drill a hole through them, and glue them together, remember to always sand where you want to glue, they are gonna hold a hell lot of pressure!! Anyway, make some fins out of cardboard, you can stiffen them up with something like skewer sticks or something you find usefull :) for nosecones you can really let your imagination control, cuz there are TONS of different ways to do it, i prefer to use cutted off bottle tops (cut off the top of a bottle...) and just tape it to the rocket... you could choose to just fold some out of cardboard though, but that is up to you :)
Now the big deal: the Nozzle :OThis is the most important thing on the rocket!!! and sadly enough sometimes also the one that causes most trouble :P hmmm.. you know, if you just use the nozzle wich is on the bottle (like the picture of the two litre bottle) the water will get kinda rushy when it is on its way out.... dont know if you know what i mean xD but if you use a type like the one to the far right side:(http://www.3part.com/Files/Billeder/Industrial%20Design/egekilde_th_1.jpg) instead, the water will be guided out gently and produce, signifigant more thrust than the other.... i have succesfully launched such a thing in the air about 120metres i would guess!!! MAN i tell you, that was extreme! :D and only that little 1.5 litre bottle! though i may have overkilled a little, when i pressurised it to almost 11bars !!! xD That thing kicked ass :)Anyway, ahh nice memories from last year xD, well back to buisness:ACR use Gardena water hose fittings, i really wanna do that too but i just cant get the glue to stick properly, since we have another type of them here in Denmark... if you check out their website they have a section called nozzles, very nice info there...
Then the lauch system, eewww this is badass braintwisting! there are tons of different designs out there, i would suggest you to look at these ones:http://home.people.net.au/~aircommand/construction.htm#Launcher - this is what i use, just with a few tweeks...This one is a very good tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bpFsoaOLTM REMEMBER to see part two! link in description bar to the right :) if you follow his steps you CANT go wrong, it is SO easy to understand! :D
So, do that, deffenetly choose the last one, it is REALLY good! :)

Please WARE SAFTY GOGGLES AND GLOVES! AND DO THIS PROJECT OUTSIDE!
Apart from that, lets get started :)

In this little How to, I will show you how to get 6 small 1.5v. batteries, out of one big 9v.

1
Start by taking a 9v. batteri like this one:

Then you need to get some working tools, like this one:

2
Take your 9v. bat. and start wraping the metal off (it's easier by starting at the top) it may take some time, but when you have wraped off the top, you should get something like this (the picture shows another type of battery, but it dosn't matter as long as it is a 9v.)

3
Pull out the 6 small batteries, they may be sticked toghether with some metal, winding them up in series, take that off too.

4

CONGRATULATIONS! you now have 6 small 1.5v. batteries to use in your own creations.

R/C Hovercraft

One day, from long time ago, i saw a TV program called "Nørd" In english: Nerd/Geek :) They made a so called "hovercraft" and from that day, I have been interested in them...

I started thinking of how i could build my own, but radio controlled (R/C). I came up with some different ideas and one of them -indeed- was really good:)
I've uploaded a video to youtube, so you can see that it's actualy working! =>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnm2h--FOFA
And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs_A_XeSwS0 for some closeups.

This is hopefully the final edition, or... at least i'm getting closer :)
The Rudder is smaller, i've added a stabiliser tale, and made some minor repairs. But the biggest difference is, that i have made the wing V-formed instead of just a flat wing, this should improve the stability great, and it does, i made a little test run, and it is much more stable... But is it stable enough? Only time will know ;)

In version #2 the only real differens is, that i switched the BL (BrushLess) motor out with a brushed one.

The motor is a Graupner Speed 400, rest of the setup is the same as before...

I test flew it... And it crashed the ruder was WAY too big, it swinged (swong, swang???) from side to side as i tried to controlle it, but it crashed.

This blog is a little different than others, it will be updated as my chillies grow, and i will therefor be posting news about my chilies when i think it is time for an update, untill they are eatable :)

For about 3 years ago, i started growing chilies. We (me and my aunt, the super chili grosers) went to our local supermarket, and bought a little bag with chili seeds in it. We planted them and after 2 weeks or so, they began to sprout. In this blog post, I will follow them from small sprouts to BIG SPICY HOT CHILLIES :-)

Every year since then, me and my aunt has planted the seed's from the chilies again and again, and every year, we get about to full of thees (see pic.) from just 3 plants. The size of the glass cannister is about 20*10*10
It may not seem as much, but I can ensure you about, that one third of a chili, is enough for 5 people, if you make some delicius chinese rise food thing.

This year, we wanted to try some new stuff, so when i became 15 i got a little scrap book, filled with chili seeds. We have planted 4 kinds of chilies, 1-4 "Bolivian rainbow" 1-4 "White Habanero" 1-4 "Flouresent purple" and 3 of my good old normal chilies.

You can click on every picture in this blog to enlarge it

Yeasterday they began to sprout, so here is a cuple of pics.
